Bali Butterfly Park is a butterfly and insect conservation facility which has more than 900 butterflies of various species as well as a variety of other insects. The park also exhibits an informative collection of preserved butterflies and insects. Do not harm the barong butterfly, one of the largest Lepidoptera species with a wingspan of over 25 cm. Another exhibit worth seeing is the stages of metamorphosis where you can see the 4 stages in the butterfly life cycle, from egg, caterpillar, cocoon to butterfly.
