What you can expect

  • This tour offers an immersive journey through the scenic highlands of the Nonpareil Tea Estate, unfolding across its distinct upper, middle, and lower elevations shaped by varying slopes and altitudes. Ascending to over 6,000 feet, the trail leads to the charming Nagrak Village, nestled close to the boundary of Horton Plains National Park and just before the historic Nagrak Bungalow.

Along the way, travelers are treated to breathtaking landscapes of rolling tea fields, misty valleys, and forested slopes. The route passes several notable landmarks, including the Vivekananda School, which reflects the area’s community life, the cascading Nonpareil Waterfall, and the working Nonpareil Tea Factory, where the heritage of Ceylon tea comes alive. A stop at the famed Baker’s Bed adds a touch of colonial-era history to the experience.
