The Baan Hongnual Cooking Class and Market Visit is a hands-on culinary experience that immerses participants in the rich flavors and traditions of authentic Thai cooking. Located just outside of Chiang Mai, this cooking class provides a unique opportunity to learn the secrets of traditional Thai dishes in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The experience begins with a visit to a local market, where participants explore fresh ingredients before preparing a delicious meal with the guidance of expert chefs.

After being collected at your Chiang Mai hotel you will be taken, by van, to Nong Hoi local market. During your 40 minutes here you will learn about the local vegetation (quite interesting, indeed!) and also purchase the fresh ingredients (chicken, prawns, herbs & vegetables) required for the cooking class.

Continue onto Baan Hong Nual, situated on Chiang Mai – Lampang Road, only about 15 minutes away from the market. After a brief introduction at Baan Hong Nual's open kitchen about Lanna Thai style food, all students will be then given aprons and headdresses as cooking uniforms. You are then set to begin with the 1st menu, learning about preparation, seasonings, utensils and, of course, cooking. After the 1st menu is done, you’ll be given time to check how delicious your food is. Your English instructors will then have you confidently cooking the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dishes.

You will be provided with steam rice whilst enjoying your self-cooked dishes. Afterward, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
