What you can expect

One of the most popular day trip from Bangkok to Ayutthaya is travelling by car and returning by cruise. Besides sightseeing at the ruins and Summer Palace, you can relax cruising back to Bangkok, view the greenery of the rice fields and observe many communities and temples along the way.

After finishing the lunch on board, visitors can come out to enjoy the view along two sides of KING river. The farm, the rice field, people on a small boat catching fishes and truck boat cruise up and down the river make the cruise trip very enjoyable.

Once it near the city center, you will start to see the nice bridge, importance sights such as the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Palace, Market and local temples along the river.

Tour starts at River City Shopping Mall. If you live close to the river or sky train and sub way, you may travel to River City by your own.

07.00: Depart from River City Shopping center by bus and start travelling to Ayutthaya.
08.15: Take a visit to Bangpain Summer Palace
10.00: Visit the former palace and Wat Phrasrisanphet and Wiharn Pra Monkol Bopit
11.00: Continue to Wat Chai Wattanaam
12.30-13.00: Board to the cruise for lunch at Nontaburi
