Overview

This is a program that inholds many activities in same package. Pick up and dropp off from Levi are incluted. Groups are always small, max 8 person. We go away from tourist center Levi 38 km to the real wilderness village Lompolo and you see a cosy authentic Hide Out, traditional cottage. You will see how locals live and hear genuine stories about life in Lapland and why we are the happiest country in the world . Here you can fish, pick some berries, do canoeing, eat delicious meal and see the reindeers in the local reindeer farm next to Hide Out. Me and my team promise to take a good care of you and you have most memorable day in authentic Lapland away from tourist center.

Activity itinerary

Lompolo
  • 3h
We go fishing with an angle to lake Suksijärvi. You can fish from the landing stage, boat or canoe. As you concentrate on watching the movements of the floating bobber on the surface, your thoughts will be free from everyday worries. After fishing, we enjoy our catch in a cosy wilderness cottage traditionally with potatoes. If we don’t catch fish, we'll enjoy anyway a delicious fish soup. After the meal, we will go to the local reindeer farm to learn about reindeer herding and life of reindeer. You will feel the calming effect of being around reindeer. Before heading home, we'll have a cup of coffee and roast some marshmallows on campfire.
