In the first part of our Prague Castle tour, we’ll walk through the peaceful Royal Garden, once the emperor’s private leisure time place. I’ll show you why people mysteriously bow to a fountain, reveal the world’s second ugliest building (yes, really!), uncover what sports were played here during the Renaissance, and even tell you the name of Emperor Rudolf’s pet lion.

Queen Anne's Summer Palace (Sambil lalu)

We’ll admire the elegant Queen Anne’s Summer Palace, a Renaissance gem built for love. I’ll reveal who came up with the palace’s unusual roof, and why it has five different names. At the Singing Fountain, you’ll find out why people bow to it, and what makes it unique.

Ball Game Hall in the Royal Garden (Sambil lalu)

At the Ball Game Hall, I’ll tell you what sports people played during the Renaissance, explain how sgraffito art is made, and point out a subtle trace of a Communist-era renovation. Before we enter the courtyard, I will tell you which exotic fruits and animals were bred in the Royal Garden and the Deer Moat.

At the entrance to the castle courtyard, we’ll watch the Changing of the Guard (not available in some weather conditions), and I’ll explain the difference between the summer and winter uniforms.

As we continue exploring the Prague Castle complex, we’ll uncover how to tell if the president is home, learn to read the clock on the Cathedral tower, and reveal the secret path of a 16-meter obelisk to the third courtyard. I’ll introduce you to the beautiful Brigita and her tragic story connected to St. George Basilica, point out where Franz Kafka once lived in the Golden Lane, and guide you through another stunning garden before we end with a breathtaking view over Prague. We won’t be entering the interiors, but if you’re interested, I’ll be happy to help you get your tickets without waiting in line.

Second Courtyard Of Prague Castle (Sambil lalu)

In the Second Courtyard, I’ll show you the remains of the oldest church on the Castle grounds, reveal the surprising history of the Chapel of the Holy Cross, share a curious story about how karma caught up with an art “thief,” and uncover the secret of the presidential flag.

St. Vitus Cathedral (Sambil lalu)

St. Vitus Cathedral is fascinating not only for its architecture but also for its construction techniques. Get ready for plenty of stories and legends about this place. And I’ll even teach you how to read an unusual clock on the tower! Since we won’t go inside (the free part is closed now due to organ reconstruction), I’ve prepared pictures so you can still see what the interior looks like.

Prague Castle Obelisk (Sambil lalu)

Why does this “piece” of stone have its own movie? How did it get here? And why was it placed in this exact spot? Let’s find out!

St. George's Basilica (Sambil lalu)

The façade of St. George’s Basilica (the second oldest church in the Castle complex) looks like it doesn’t quite match the rest, and its towers will put your eyes to the test! No worries, I will explain to you why. But the best (or perhaps worst) part of this spot is the tragic tale of beautiful Brigita.

Old Royal Palace (Sambil lalu)

Czechs have been extreme problem-solvers since medieval times, and by the windows of the Old Royal Palace, I’ll explain to you exactly why and how. And don't be scared; we don't use this technique anymore...

Golden Lane (Sambil lalu)

Charming, tiny and colourful houses, almost like something out of a fairytale. This is where artists and writers, including Franz Kafka, once lived… and long before them, even alchemists and fortune tellers. The name “Golden Lane” isn’t just about glitter and fairy tales; with me, you’ll discover what it really means, revealing its tragic stories.

I’ll show you breathtaking views of Prague and share a surprising fact about the Petřín Lookout Tower (our little Eiffel Tower) on the opposite hill. Let’s hope the weather plays along!

St Nicholas Church (Sambil lalu)

After leaving the Castle, we’ll head downhill toward a monumental baroque Church of St Nicholas that had to be reconsecrated after a vampire visited it. On the way to it we can make a quick stop for a takeaway coffee at a cosy bistro in Malá Strana (if we feel like it).

The John Lennon Wall (Sambil lalu)

At the Lennon Wall, I’ll share a few childhood memories from Malá Strana and show you what the wall looked like 30 years ago. We’ll also explore the complex history of this cultural landmark because it’s far from just an ordinary graffiti wall.

Charles Bridge

Near Charles Bridge, I’ll show you how wild the Vltava River can be and where you’ll find the Prague Venice. On the bridge, we’ll stop at a special spot where you can make a wish without queuing for too long.

Finally, at the Charles Bridge Museum, I’ll explain how this iconic bridge was built in the 14th century. You’ll get to experience for yourself why building the bridge took nearly 50 years.
