  • This early morning hike leads you to an unbelievable sunrise view of the Majestic Annapurna range. It feels like being above the clouds as you'll be standing above the fog-covered Pokhara valley.

    Morning Departure:
    Start your day early in the morning to make for the most stunning view of the sunrise over the Himalayas. You'll be picked up from your hotel early morning (departure time depends on the sunrise time). The drive takes you to Kande starting point of the hike. It is approximately 30 to 40 minutes.

    Arrive at Kande:
    Kande is a small village located on the scenic route between Pokhara and the Australian Camp. It serves as the starting point for the hike. Once you reach Kande, you are ready to start your hike.

    Begin the Hike:
    The hike from Kande to Australian Camp is relatively moderate in difficulty. The total hike takes round 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace. Since it is the early morning hike, you might be able to see some wildlife as well.

    Trek through Forests and Villages:
    As you ascend from Kande to Australian Camp, you'll pass through lush forests, charming villages, and terraced fields. The trail offers a mix of natural beauty and cultural experiences.

    Reach Australian Camp:
    As you approach Australian Camp, you'll start to see the incredible panoramic views of sunrise over the Annapurna mountain range, including peaks like Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Hiunchuli. The view from Australian Camp is truly breathtaking and well worth the hike.

    Enjoy the Views:
    Spend time at Australian Camp cherishing magnificent sunrise view over the Annapurna range . The camp itself offers a comfortable resting spot with teahouses where you can have a well-deserved break and enjoy some refreshments while soaking in the views.

    Descend to Kande:
    After enjoying the Annapurna range panoramic sunrise view, begin your descent back to Kande. The hike downhill will be easier and quicker, taking around 1 hours.

    Return to Pokhara:
    Once you reach Kande, you'll be again driven to Pokhara and conclude your sunrise hike adventure.
