What you can expect

Outfitter KZ offers a one-day jeep tour with hiking on the Asy plateau in the Almaty region. The Asy Plateau is known for its changing landscapes and fauna. The route begins with a visit to the Turgen valley and famous waterfalls. Then the journey continues to the Asy plateau, where you can visit the astronomical observatory and enjoy the scenery from semi-desert to alpine meadows. Travelers will see ancient rock paintings and cross the Sarytau mountain range. The route ends in the valley of the Bartogai reservoir, where you can see the dam and the Chilik River. Outfitter KZ offers various itinerary options, but a jeep tour with small excursions is most recommended for a weekend.
