Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, begin the scenic drive toward Moshi with views of rural villages and, on a clear day, Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Arrive at Materuni, a charming Chagga village located at the foothills of Kilimanjaro. Meet a local guide who will accompany you to the waterfall and coffee farm. Enjoy a refreshing hike (about 45–60 minutes each way) through lush rainforests, banana plantations, and coffee fields.

Upon arrival, admire the 90-meter Materuni Falls, take photos, and—if you wish—take a quick dip in the cool natural pool. Head back to the village for an authentic coffee tour. Learn every step of traditional coffee production, including picking ripe beans, hand-peeling and roasting over an open fire, grinding with traditional tools, and preparing fresh organic coffee.

Enjoy a cup of the freshest Arabica coffee while listening to Chagga songs and the local history. A local hot lunch (usually rice, banana stew, vegetables, or beans) is served.
