Misti Volcano, located near Arequipa, Peru, is an iconic stratovolcano that rises more than 5,800 meters above sea level. Its perfect conical shape and imposing presence make it an outstanding natural wonder.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arequipa and Misti Volcano

We will pick you up at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. to begin our tour.

From here in a 4x4 vehicle by the route of Chiguata we will go to the Misti Volcano, in about 2 hours of travel we will have reached 3300 meters above sea level.

Once here, we will begin our hike along the slope of the volcano, throughout our journey we will see wonderful views and finally reach the base camp, which is located at 4800 meters above sea level.

Day 2: Misti Volcano and Arequipa

Early in the morning, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast that includes tortillas, toast and a hot drink. After our delicious meal we will start our ascent to the top of the Misti Volcano.

Our goal is to reach 5825 m.a.s.l., for this we will make a long but dynamic and wonderful hike, once we reach our goal we will have 1 hour free, to take the best pictures with the wonderful views from the top of the volcano.

Finally, we will start our descent to 3300m.a.s.l., where our transportation will be waiting for us to take us back to Arequipa, ending our tour with your arrival at 14:00 hrs.
