Your Itinerary:
Convenient Pickup: We begin by picking you up directly from your hotel or the Cathedral gate at the Plaza de Armas
.Gear Up: Our first stop is our storage facility, where you will receive clean, top-quality neoprene wetsuits and booties in excellent condition.
Scenic Drive & Photo Stop: Once changed, we will drive toward the beautiful Chilina Valley (a 15 to 25-minute ride depending on traffic). Just before arriving, we will make a quick stop to capture stunning photos of Arequipa’s three iconic volcanoes: Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu.
Safety Briefing: At our private riverside camp, you will receive the rest of your premium gear (life jacket, helmet, and paddle). Our expert guides will then deliver a comprehensive safety briefing and teach you all the essential river commands and safety kayak.
The Descent: Hit the water for a thrilling 6-kilometer run down the river. During the tour, you will have the exciting options to try out an inflatable kayak, or enjoy a safe cliff jump and swim in a secure, calm section of the river.
Wrap Up & Snack: At the end of the rapids, you will change back into your dry clothes and enjoy a complimentary light snack to recover your energy.
