Day 1: Arequipa city
Walk through the streets of Arequipa, considered a historical heritage site, talk to the people, and enjoy the city's architecture and climate. We will visit:
Church of the Society of Jesus and the cloisters of the Society of Jesus. A priceless jewel full of 18th-century art.
Then we'll visit the local San Camilo Market, where you can see people's daily life and learn familiar Spanish vocabulary such as “Caserita”. We'll also taste some fruits from the region.
Finally, we'll end the tour at St. Catherine's Monastery, a city within a city.
Day 2: Trip to the Colca Valley (3-hour journey)
Along the way, we'll make stops to appreciate the beautiful landscape that we'll encounter, such as the Aguada Blanca reserve and its camelids. Then, we'll stop at the highest point of the route, the Volcanoes vantage point (4,910 meters above sea level).
We arrive in Yanque to spend the night, spend time with the family, and enjoy the thermal baths.
Third day: (One-hour trip) We arrive at the vantage point to appreciate the flight of the condor and the canyon.
On the way back, we'll share a lunch with a local family. In the Coporaque district, small villages that keep their traditions alive.
Return to Arequipa. (A 3-hour trip)
