Embark on an unforgettable day discovering Raiatea, a sacred island and the cultural heart of Polynesia, on a small-group boat tour combining sailing, snorkeling, culture, and relaxation.

Departure at 8:30 AM from the Uturoa cruise terminal.

We sail along the west coast of Raiatea, where the turquoise lagoon and the deep blue sea offer a permanent show. As we sail, nature decides the program: it is not uncommon to see dolphins coming to play around the boat.

Then head to the south of the island, passing by the town of Tevaitoa, known for its wild bays, green cliffs, and waterfalls hidden in the vegetation.

First stop at the Nao Nao Coral Garden, one of the most beautiful snorkeling sites in Raiatea. Explore the coral heads and observe multicolor tropical fish in clear, shallow waters.

We then head to the beach of the Opoa Beach Hotel, where lunch is served in an idyllic setting, with our feet in the sand, facing the lagoon.

The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the Marae of Taputapuatea, a major archaeological site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This guided visit by the sea allows you to understand the spiritual and historical importance of this sacred place, considered the cradle of Polynesian civilization.

To end the day, sail in the peaceful bay of Faaroa and, if conditions permit, take a trip along the only navigable river in French Polynesia, in the heart of lush vegetation.
