Step into a side of Mt Fuji that feels personal, peaceful, and memorable. Explore Japan’s most famous forest, grown across ancient lava where trees twist over rock and the outside world seems to fade away.

Discover how this forest formed and the life that exists within it. Feel the power and beauty of nature, and perhaps sense some of its mystery too. During the first half of the walk, your guide shares commentary that brings the geology, history, and natural world of this landscape to life.

The second half becomes quieter, giving you time to walk at an easy pace and be with your own thoughts in a forest where nature, history, and legend come alive.
