Krishna Mandir - Temple to Lord Krishna of Hindu religion, the place is famous for intricate wood carvings and stone sculptures. 2. Patan Museum - It features ancient coins, arts, and artifacts reflecting the rich history and culture of the Patan Region. 3. Golden Temple which is famous for its roof made of gold, and beautiful meticulous woodcarvings. 4. Sundari Chowk is one of the most beautiful courtyards in Nepal, surrounded on all four sides by intricately carved beautiful wood balconies. The courtyard houses a statue of one of the royal kings of Nepal. 5. Taleju Bhawani Temple : One of the most religious places in Nepal, here you will explore glided rooftop and beautiful wood carvings. 6. Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhanath Stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also one of the largest stupas in the world. This place has roots going back to 600 AD. Here you will explore the followings: 1. The Stupa - The spherical stupa is decorated with beautiful colorful prayer flags and has a golden spire at the top. The diameter of the stupa is about 100 meters and is about 36 meters high. You can walk around the base of the stupa rolling scared prayer wheels and smelling aromatic incense. 2. Monasteries - The complex has many monasteries such as Shechen Monastery, Rangjung Yeshe Gompa and Thrangu Monastery, which provide visitors with a glimpse of daily life of monks and nuns. 3. Thangkas - Thangkas are traditional Tibetan Buddhist paintings depicting the life of Buddha and his teachings or other famous Buddhist deities. It also features the famous wheel of life. 4. Souvenir shops - These shops sell traditional Tibetan handicrafts such as prayer flag, singing bowls, paintings and many more.

Trisuli River
Kathmandu to Besisahar is about 6-7 hour bus ride depending on the traffic, covering a distance of about 176 meters. Besisahar is the starting point of the Annapurna circuit trek. The bus route follows the Trishuli River, which is famous for rafting and trekking. The rapids at the Trishuli River varies in complexity level making it friendly for both beginner and experienced rafters.

This trek starts in the town of Besisahar and follows the Marsyandi River to the town of Chamje. You will cross the Thorong La pass, start a descend to Muktinath (at an elevation of 3800 meters). Muktinath temple is a sacred place of pilgrimage for both Hindu and Buddhist devotees, featuring a pagoda style Hindu temple and a Buddhist monastery. It is considered one of the highest temples in the World. There are 108 taps at the temple complex that pour out natural spring water which is believed to have healing properties. Jomsom Muktinath Trek

You will start descending down to Jomsom (2743 meters). You will see stunning natural beauty including snow peak mountains, deep gorges and scenic valleys. The Kali Gandaki River flows through the city, adding picturesque setting. The river derives its name as 'Kali Gandaki' because of the black silt and clay particles in the water. The Kali Gandaki River is famous for sacred "Shaligram" stones (ammonite fossils). During the trek, you will see colorful apple orchards in the surrounding hills, which bloom fully during fall season. Jomsom offers an arid and desert like terrain. The Kali Gandaki Gorge is considered to be one of the deepest gorges in the world.
