At 5:00 AM, you will depart from your hotel with private transportation to the Angkor Wat Temple Complex. Here, you will purchase your temple pass and enter with your guide to witness a truly magical experience. Watch the sunrise over Cambodia’s most ancient and most respected monument – Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat was built around the first half of the 12th century by King Suryavarman II. The temple's balance, composition and beauty make it one of the finest monuments in the world. The shear size of this monument makes it very overwhelming as it towers over the landscape.

The morning is then filled with visiting and enriching yourself with a number of temples within the ancient grounds. Starting with the Angkor Thom complex, your first stop will be Bayon. Built in the latter part of the 12th Century by King Jayavarman VII, Bayon is one of the most widely recognized temples in the Angkor Park because of the giant stone faces that adorn the towers of Bayon. There are 54 towers of faces with 4 faces on each tower, Bayon consists of 216 faces, a sight not to be missed. The next stop is Ta Prohm, a jungle clad temple that offers a strange beauty as the stone works intertwine with jungle vines. For many this temple will be well known as it was featured in Angelina Jolie’s Tomb Raider. At 12:00 PM, your tour comes to an end and your guide will transfer you back to your hotel.
