Istria is a melting pot of cultures where historic towns and delicious dishes vie for your attention. This full-day tour takes in some of its star turns, including Rovinj, Grzini and Pula. You'll also tuck in to a lunch of tasty local specialities.

You'll start the morning in the Venetian-style town of Rovinj. Explore narrow streets fringed by Roman and Byzantine treasures and spot gems such as St Euphemia's Church. Then, you'll stop by the hamlet of Grzini for a typical Istrian lunch in an agrotourism and catch an insight into rural life.

After refuelling, you'll head to the final stop of the day, Pula. Here, your guide will bring to life the times of gladiators and roaring crowds on a visit to its towering and remarkably well-preserved Roman Arena. There'll even be some free time to explore at your own pace before boarding the coach back to resort.
