Pass by Monchique village, towards Fóia - the Monchique Mountains, the Algarve's highest point at with 902 m above sea level. On a clear day it is possible to see the entire coastline from Portimão to Cape st. Vincent.

Next, visit Lagos, once a Celtic settlement named Lacobriga with origins dating back to 2000 BC. The port, was once visited by Phoenicians and at one time occupied by the Romans. Learn about the city's golden age in the 15th century when the Great Portuguese Discoveries began.

Free time to explore the old town. Discover the Governor's Castle, Prince Henry's statue, dedicated to the Age of Discoveries, the Slave Market, the statue of the young King Sebastian and its symbolism and don't miss the beautiful St. Anthony Church, known as the Golden Church.

End your tour at Cape St. Vincent, Europe's southwesternmost point. Amaze with the wild coast and the extraordinary rock formations and fascinating grottos that surround it. Marvel at the nearby cliffs, some standing as high as 20 m.
