Amanohashidate in Miyazu Bay in the Sea of Japan in the northern part of Kyoto is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, along with Matsushima in Mutsu and Miyajima in Aki. It is a rare terrain with about 6,700 pines on a sandbar with a width of about 20 to 170m and a total length of about 3.6km, and it is a mysterious shape created by nature over thousands of years.

Ine town is also a member of the federation of “Les plus beaux villages de la terre”. Ine no hunaya Houses are two-story boat houses. The first floor is a boat garage and the second floor is a residence area. In Ine, 230 Funaya houses stand lined up in a row for 5km. There are sightseeing boats operated by us that go around inside the bay, and it takes about 25 minutes. You can enjoy the landscape of ”Funaya” from the sea, while you are on the boat. If you’re lucky enough, you can also feed many seabirds fly close to the boat.
