We'll start at the Ehrwald cable car parking lot and tackle the first ascent to the Ehrwalder Alm right away. It's demanding, but doable, and you'll quickly be rewarded with the first unobstructed views of the Zugspitze. Along the way, I'll keep telling you something about the region, the landscape, and what makes this area so special. Then we'll head over a ridge and through quiet forests to the Seebensee. We'll take our time at the turquoise lake. If you like, you can jump into the water or take a picnic break right on the shore. Just the right place to recharge your batteries. Then comes the second ascent through alpine terrain, accompanied by new perspectives on the Zugspitze massif. Once at the top, I'll decide with the group whether we'll make a short detour towards Drachenkopf. Then we'll stop at the Coburger hut and enjoy the view of Drachensee and Seebensee. The descent back to Ehrwald rounds off the tour in a relaxed way and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
