This tour is an excellent way to experience Cairo and the surrounding areas in two days. Our amazing guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and flexible to our requests. I really enjoyed the exposure to the food and culture!

This was an excellent tour. If you are short on time - this is the tour for you - it covers a lot of Giza and Cairo. Our guide was very experienced, and coached us on everything to tipping, bartering, and what to expect in the bathrooms! Zeinab was very knowledgeable in Egyptian history and artifacts. We also visited a number of stores of interest to our group for specialty items.

Descending 140 ramp steps into the Red pyramid narrowly beat out the thrill of learning about Cairo traffic: cars don't drive inside lines (in fact most wide roads have no line markings ) and rarely signal, cars come up on your left and turn across your bow through 90 or 180 degrees, traffic passing through multilane intersections with no stop signs where cars may slow but not stop from all four directions, treating the tuktuks that scoot around you like buzzing flies, plus motorbikes and horse drawn carts, and people chatting on their phones who walk casually through active traffic. Repositioning (since lane change has no meaning) happens every five seconds in busy areas. Wow!!! I was told it's like a video game, driving with four pair of eyes, learning the rhythm, and nobody appeared impatient. You'll find the day is long though you return to your hotel late afternoon briefly each day. The first day is the hard one with a lot of heat to bear and water to drink. Not all roses. The "learn how papyrus is made" is a sham demo in a beautiful papyrus shop with rip off pricing. You'll see street vendors at the market with apparently the same product at far lower prices. Also the 30 minute camel ride turned into a pleasant 15 minute one instead. When I pointed this out, our guide said no problem to get back on for more. I think she and the camel driver knew this was going to happen. A bonus for us was discovering our guide Manar has a heart for the many feral dogs and cats in Cairo and she handed out fresh bought buns by the bag load everywhere and was often recognized for this. Great respect for congenial and skilled driver Essan who may be one of the only people in Cairo who wears a seatbelt.

As a solo female traveller having my first visit to Egypt, I felt I was in very capable hands with Nour as my tour guide and Amr as our driver. I felt very well taken care of. Nour is extremely knowledgeable as evident from his other role as a university lecturer in Egyptology. He is also super friendly, fun and amenable to the many questions I asked that extended to every day life in Cairo. Nour & Amr made everything convenient and enjoyable for my tour. I highly recommend this tour and suggest requesting Nour as your guide. Hands down, he is fantastic!

Top notch tour! Nour our guide is a university trained Egyptologist and spent all day each day educating us about absolutely everything! The sights were wondrous, but the actual experience of visiting the sights and going inside things like the pyramid and citadel were astounding ! This tour made my experience to Egypt unforgettable. Besides the sights meals are included. Tour guid can take you to reputable shops for anything you can imagine. You need only ask.

This two-day tour of the pyramids of Giza, Sakkara, and Dahshour; the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities and the Cairo Citadel was an amazing journey from the dawn of recorded history to the advent of Christianity and the spread of Islam in Egypt. My tour guide, Nour Zaki, a Cairo University Egyptologist, shared his in-depth knowledge of these historic periods in a manner that I could easily understand and appreciate. His narratives personalized the significance of each site and artifact that we encountered along the way, allowing me to better comprehend the story of Egypt and its people. Sensing my interest in the Nile River, Nour suggested sailing aboard a Felucca, the traditional wooden sailboat used in Egypt. As a retired mariner this was an unexpected and most welcome experience. For someone new to Egypt and its history, this is an exceptional tour.

The tour guide and driver were both excellent. Although we got a lot of information in such a short time, it was understandable and delivered in a way for us to remember. The driver was great and made sure we all made it back to our respective hotels safely. We also wanted to eat at an authentic Egyptian eatery and they were kind enough to comply and took us to a place were the food was great. Highly recommend Zenab.
