Snowshoeing is the ancient form of winter hiking, an excellent way to explore the artic nature. It is an fantastic opportunity to move through the deep snow and enjoy the winter wonderland firsthand. Snowshoeing is for everybody and offers a fantastic way to move through the deep snow in places you would not be able to access on foot at this time of year. We will take you on a tour where you can enjoy the nature of North Iceland in the area of Akureyri. You will have an opportunity to take fantastic photographs of the winter wonderland all around you. The adventure starts at our destination after a short bus drive. Everybody will get their equipment and lessons in how to walk in the shoes.
