Omagari in Akita is one of the sacred places for Japanese pyrotechnicians.

The competition is held in on the last Saturday of April in Omagari, Akita.

Up to 4 people per group. Your group will be seated at a table for four people.
Children under 7 years old are free, but there are no seats available, so they have to watch on their parents' laps.

Meet your guide at the west exit of JR Omagari Station at 16:00.
It is about 40 minute-walk from Omagari station to the venue. There are stalls along the way, so enjoy shopping and eating while walking. When you arrive at the venue, we will explain the seats and restrooms. We will also explain how to watch fireworks. Fireworks start at 7pm. Enjoy nearby stalls until 7pm. Watch the 90-minute fireworks show from your seat.
After the fireworks, we will return to Omagari Station with your guide and break up there.
Nights can get as cold as 4°C (39.2°F). Please wear warm clothing such as a jacket, hat, gloves, and pants.
Please leave your luggage at your hotel if possible. If this is difficult, please consult with us after making a reservation.
From March, Hotels are very busy beyond provinces at this time of year because tickets will go on sale to the personals from March. We recommend that you make your arrangements as early as possible.
