After 9:00 AM hotel pick-up, visit the Akshardham Temple (Temple closed on every Monday), dedicated to Lord Swaminaraya. See its impressive intricately carved stone and manicured gardens. Explore the five separate halls with over 200 idols of Hindu Gods, and the exhibition hall with displays reflecting central ideas of Hindu culture and values.

Next, head to Sidi Saiyyed Mosque and marvel at its arc-shaped architecture. See the beautiful artwork in the mosque, including the Tree of Life, and the lattice stone window, adopted by the reputed Indian Institute of Ahmedabad.

Take a break and savor lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Hutheesing Jain Temple on the banks of Sabarmati River. The ashram was home of Mahatma Gandhi for 12 years and served as headquarters during the struggle for Indian independence.

Finally, visit Adalaj Step Well, seven stories deep built by Rana Veer Singh. Proceed downstairs and feel the cool atmosphere, before you head back to your hotel.
