Day 1 – Addis Ababa → Gondar → Gorgora
Start your adventure with a domestic flight from Addis Ababa to Gondar. Meet your guide and driver and travel through scenic Ethiopian countryside toward Gorgora, a peaceful lakeside destination on Lake Tana. Check in and enjoy a welcome drink before relaxing by the lake. Optional boat activities can be arranged depending on your interests and weather conditions. Overnight in Gorgora.

Day 2 – Gorgora & Lake Tana Relaxation
Enjoy breakfast with beautiful lake views before spending a relaxed day discovering Gorgora. Take a peaceful lakeside walk, enjoy the resort facilities, relax by the water, or choose an optional boat excursion. This flexible day is designed to let you enjoy Lake Tana without rushing. Overnight in Gorgora.

Day 3 – Gorgora → Gondar Historical Tour
After breakfast, travel back to Gondar and explore the city’s fascinating royal heritage. Visit the UNESCO-listed Royal Enclosure, home to impressive castles and palaces from Ethiopia’s Gondarine period. Continue to Debre Berhan Selassie Church, famous for its beautifully painted interior and iconic ceiling decorated with angelic faces. Day 4 – Gondar → Bahir Dar
After breakfast, depart Gondar for Bahir Dar, traveling through beautiful highland landscapes and Ethiopian countryside. Arrive in Bahir Dar and check in before enjoying time to relax. Day 5 – Lake Tana Boat Trip & Ancient Monasteries
After breakfast, embark on a scenic boat journey across Lake Tana, Ethiopia’s largest lake. Visit historic monasteries on the lake’s islands or peninsulas, depending on weather and local conditions. Discover ancient religious traditions, remarkable paintings, manuscripts, and peaceful natural surroundings. Return to Bahir Dar in the afternoon and enjoy free time by the lake. Day 6 – Blue Nile Falls → Addis Ababa
Enjoy breakfast before heading toward the spectacular Blue Nile Falls, subject to seasonal water levels and local conditions.
