What you can expect

Our journey begins with a scenic drive south of Cairns, where we'll have the privilege of meeting with a local Aboriginal tribe. Immerse yourself in their world as we embark on an easy 45-minute walk through an indigenous native fruit plantation, listening to mesmerizing dreamtime stories and gaining insights into the evolution of the landscape and the cultural heritage of the indigenous tribes spanning over 60,000 years. Experience a digeridoo demonstration and witness traditional spears and hunting tools, connecting with ancient traditions and wisdom.

After this enlightening cultural experience, we'll treat ourselves to a delicious lunch at a fantastic restaurant, rejuvenating our spirits for the adventures ahead.

Our next stop takes us to the tranquil 'Babinda Boulders,' a hidden gem nestled in lush rainforest surroundings. Here, you'll have the opportunity to float in the cool, clear waters of this stunning swimming hole, surrounded by vibrant flora and fauna. The fast-flowing creeks weaving through massive granite boulders create a unique and picturesque landscape, offering a serene environment for relaxation and exploration.

Continuing our journey, we'll embark on a short rainforest walk to two breathtaking lookouts, where you'll hear the fascinating Yindinji Indigenous Legend that lends an eerie charm to these beautiful pools.

Our final adventure awaits at Josephine Falls National Park, boasting natural rock slides and cascading waterfalls. Daredevils can enjoy sliding down the waterfalls in this natural water park, while those less inclined can paddle in the serene waters and creek. Please note that confident swimming skills are required for the waterfall area, but beginners can still enjoy the water in other ways.

Join us on this immersive tour as we blend nature, culture, and adventure into a day you'll treasure forever. Discover the hidden wonders and ancient traditions of Far North Queensland with us!
