What you can expect

Connect with the landscape and trees on this private walking tour around Glastonbury. Meet your guide, a long term resident of Glastonbury, for a walk around the town's beautiful countryside to discover the area’s of stunning natural beauty. Explore the lanes and find hidden locations while also orientating to the main sites of interest. We'll meet Glastonbury's unique thorn tree, visit Grandmother linden, and take a sip of the sacred spring waters amongst many other things.

Matt will guide you through the lanes, and around some of the lesser known parts of the Town and countryside while providing insightful information about the landscape, history, and hidden gems that only locals know of. A climb of the Tor is the perfect way to end the adventure, Matt will give you a tour of the panoramic horizon as well as highlighting the paths which you have traversed to reach the hill.

During this tour Matt talks about the towns heritage and primary sites of interest, he touches on themes of nature, the trees and the landscapes of Glastonbury. Matt also touches on the towns' unique history, it's myth, legend, lore, and more esoteric interpretations of Avalon, amongst many other things.
