What you can expect

This powerful walking tour begins at City Hall, just steps from Ground Zero, and is led by a local New Yorker with a personal connection to 9/11. With no more than 15 guests per group, you’ll experience an intimate and respectful journey through the events, emotions, and aftermath of one of the most pivotal days in modern history.

Your first stop is St. Paul’s Chapel, the historic “Little Church That Stood,” which miraculously survived the collapse of the Twin Towers and served as a sanctuary and volunteer center in the days that followed. Then, pause outside FDNY Ten House, the fire station closest to the Twin Towers, and hear stories of the firefighters who responded that day.

At the 9/11 Memorial, reflect beside the twin reflecting pools, set within the footprints of the original towers and engraved with the names of the nearly 3,000 victims. Your guide will share personal reflections and explain the symbolism behind the memorial’s design. You’ll also visit the Survivor Tree, a powerful living reminder of resilience and renewal.

Continue through the striking Oculus, the dove-shaped transportation hub that represents hope and rebirth, and learn how the surrounding area has been rebuilt with purpose and remembrance.

For those who opt in, your experience includes timed-entry to the 9/11 Museum. Your guide will escort you to the entrance and provide helpful context before you explore the museum’s powerful exhibits, artifacts, and multimedia displays at your own pace.

This is more than a tour — it’s a tribute. Thoughtfully designed and personally guided, it offers a moving, small-group experience that brings the human stories behind the headlines to life.
