Know before you book

  • Reservations 5 days in advance will be subject to prior confirmation
  • Domestic flight from Lima to Cusco must arrive not later than 10:30hrs. Noon arrivals are too late.
  • It is forbidden the following objects: professional cameras that require lights and tripods, drones, selfie sticks, aerosols, high heels, walking sticks without rubber tips, banners and posters, sharp objects and backpacks that exceed the following dimensions: 40cm x 35 cm x 20 cm.
  • Carry the same document that you presented to the agency, given that the train tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu will be issued with the same information.
  • Please note that Check-In in most hotels begins at 13:00 hrs. Clients will be subject to the availability of the room if they arrive before, waiting in the hotel lobby.
  • To preserve the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, as well as its condition as World Heritage, the Ministry of Culture has established different circuits to visit it.
  • We will make sure that your visit to the archaeological site is a memorable experience. However, please keep in mind, that either Circuit 2 or 3 will be assigned upon availability.

What you can expect

Day 1: Arrival in Lima

A transportation service will pick you up from the airport at the scheduled time to transfer you to your hotel in Lima.

Day 2: Lima

The route begins at the traditional Pueblo Libre district, where you visit the Larco Museum. Then visit the Casa Aliaga, continue with a scenic tour through the colonial downtown. See the Main Square, where you can appreciate the grandiose architecture of the Spanish Empire. Admire Lima’s Cathedral, built during the 16th century.

  • Accommodation: 1 night in Lima.

Day 3: Lima - Cusco - Sacred Valley

Enjoy a pleasant transfer from the selected hotel to Lima airport. Once you arrive to the Imperial City, you will be transferred to the selected hotel in the Sacred Valley.

  • Flights tickes to cusco are not included.

Day 4: Sacred Valley

During the morning, visit the town of Chinchero. Then, you are transferred to the Living Museum of Yucay, a centre Andean traditions interpretations. Upon arriving in Ollantaytambo visit its town, inhabited uninterruptedly since Inca times, and have a superior Andean gastronomy experience in a restaurant.

Day 5: Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes

Visit the Lost City of the Incas is believed to have been built in the 1450s by Inca emperor Pachacuti as a holiday retreat, yet within a century the city would be abandoned following the Spanish conquest. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then board the train back to Cusco.

Day 6: Aguas Calientes - Cusco

Today, you can optionally return to Machu Picchu by your own. In the afternoon, transfer to the Aguas Calientes station and take the train back to Ollanta station. From here you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 7: Cusco

Visit Santo Domingo Convent, the Cathedral of Cusco, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman and the ruins of the temple.Continue with the amphitheater of Qenqo and finally visit Puka Pukara.

Day 8: Departure Cusco

A transportation service will take you to Cusco airport for your departure.
