You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast for a drive to Tarangire National Park. The park known for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. You will spend the day on game drives, spotting wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and lions, as well as diverse birdlife. • Accommodation: Seronera Public Campsite

Serengeti National Park

  • 10h
After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti National Park is made up of grassland Savannah, riverine forest, and woodlands, each providing a picturesque landscape. Known for its abundant diversity of wildlife, this park is most famous for the annual migration, a spectacular event as thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes try to cross the Mara River into Masai Mara while fighting the river tide and the numerous crocodiles looking for an easy meal. There will be a stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint, which, on a clear day, offers stunning views of the entire crater. Continue heading to Naabi Gate to pause for lunch and then after check into the Serengeti. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon and evening game drive. You will be dropped off at your accommodation for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: Simba Public Campsite

Serengeti National Park

  • 10h
Enjoy another early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro was separated from Serengeti in 1959, and the resident Masai in Serengeti National Park were relocated to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where they still live today in harmony with wildlife and nature. Make an optional stop at a Maasai Village to learn about the indigenous tribe at an extra fee. Head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: Ngedere Lodge and Camps

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • 10h
After breakfast, we head along the crater rim to Seneto Gate on the western side and descend into the Crater Floor on an adventures path – what an impressive view! The Ngorongoro Crater provides a home for a vast number of animals because of its reliable water availability. Animals frequently move in and out. The number of wildebeests and zebras increases during the dry season, whereas the numbers of elands, elephants and water-bucks increase during the wet season. Search for the ‘Big Five‘ – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and the black rhinoceros. The crater is one of the only two places in Tanzania where you can still observe the highly threatened back rhinoceros. After intensive game viewing, stop for lunch in the afternoon and in the late afternoon, proceed to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: Ngedere Lodges and Camps

Lake Manyara National Park

  • 10h
You will have an early breakfast, then head to Lake Manyara National Park for an early morning game drive. The park's beauty begins at the park gate by driving through the lush forest, then open grassland before reaching the lake's edge. To any game watcher, the park is a paradise, full of endemic species and a variety of bird life. Expect to see animals like elephants, hippos, impalas, dik-dik, bushbucks, and, if you are lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions of Manyara that have made this park world-famous. In the afternoon, you will have a hot lunch. Thereafter, you'll continue with a game drive until when you sign out of the park for your overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: Venice Hotel Arusha

Lake Eyasi

  • 10h
  • Admission ticket included
In the southwest corner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a soda lake that is fed by the Sibiti and Baray Rivers. Visiting the Eyasi lake is a different type of safari experience from those that you may be familiar with from your other Tanzania wilderness excursions. The region around Eyasi is the home of the Hadzabe and Datoga communities who continue their ancient lifestyle of hunting-gathering and pastoralism respectively. Visits to the villages give you a personal, intimate look into the daily life of these peoples. You may be impromptu invited into their homes, learn about the family structures, participate in traditional dances, participate in bead making with the women, join the traditional small game hunting and gathering by the Hadzabe tribesmen, make bow and arrows, and much more. Early evening drive to Arusha for overnight.

Day 7: Materuni and Chemka Hotsptings

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks
  • Accommodation: Not included

Materuni Waterfalls

  • 10m
  • Admission ticket included
The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and welcome you to the Chemka Hot Springs and Materuni tour. You'll proceed to Materuni Waterfalls, which are located under the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a very impressive waterfall, one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal clear glacier water 70cm into the basin. The beautiful path leading to the waterfalls crosses valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforests, past coffee, bananas, avocados, and tree species. You will get a local lunch prepared by the Chagga community if you like. Afterward, you'll leave for Chemka Hot Springs. The road is bumpy, so driving takes more than 40 minutes. During the trip, you'll enjoy the wonderful scenery and see authentic Tanzanian life. You can swim, relax, eat your lunch, and enjoy the sun. After that adventure, as it is your last day, you will be driven to the airport or a hotel of your choice.
