Akrotiri Archaeological Site
  • 45m
  • Admission ticket not included
The Akrotiri excavation site is of a Cycladic cultural settlement on the Greek island of Santorini, associated with the Minoan civilization due to inscriptions in Linear A, and close similarities in artifact and fresco styles. The excavation is named for a modern village situated on a hill nearby. The name of the site in antiquity is unknown. Akrotiri was buried by the massive Theran eruption in the middle of the second millennium BC (during the Late Minoan IA period); as a result, like the Roman ruins of Pompeii after it, it is remarkably well-preserved. Frescoes, pottery, furniture, advanced drainage systems and three-story buildings have been discovered at the site. Admission ticket 12€ is not included
Red Beach
  • 20m
Red Beach is a volcanic sand beach on the Aegean island of Santorini. The beach is famed for its titular red-hued sand, and is a noted for being a popular tourist attraction. The beach's sand is composed of black and red pulverized volcanic rock from the nearby Santorini caldera. Red Beach can be accessed from nearby Akrotiri. The area is prone to landslides, and since 2013 parts of the beach have been inaccessible due to said slides.
Perissa Black Sand Beach
  • 20m
The longest beach of he island, is the ideal spot for some relaxation by the crystal clear water of the Aegean sea. Perissa boasts magnificent beaches on the Aegean including Perissa Beach itself and Perivolos. Ιερά Μόνη Προφήτη Ηλία
  • 20m
Prophet Elias Monastery is located in the southeast part of Santorini, near the village of Pyrgos, on the summit of Mount Profitis Ilias. It is built at a height of approximately 567 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest point on the whole island and therefore a place with a tremendous view!
Pyrgos
  • 45m
Pyrgos Kallistis or simply Pyrgos (Greek: Πύργος Καλλίστης, lit. 'Tower') is a village on the Aegean island of Santorini, Greece, in the Cyclades archipelago with a population of 912 according to the 2011 census. Pyrgos is part of the Municipality of Thira and is situated approximately 7 km away from the island's capital Fira. It is built amphitheatrically on a hill that offers magnificent views of Santorini in almost all directions. On top of this hill remain the ruins of a Venetian castle (Kasteli) that was once the island's administrative center. Pyrgos is a typical example of medieval architecture with narrow, labyrinthine streets, fortified walls and hidden passages. Nowadays it is one of the villages of Santorini least spoiled by tourism.

Three Bells of Fira
  • 15m
The Three Bells of Fira, officially known as The Catholic Church of the Dormition, is a Greek Catholic church on the island of Santorini. The church is known for its blue dome, three bells and views. The building is located in the town of Fira, directly above the cliffs which dominate western Santorini.
Oia
  • 45m
Oia typifies the white-painted houses of the Cyclades, in many cases built directly into niches which are cave houses used by crew of the ships, on the lip of the volcanic crater, between which are narrow alleys and blue-roofed churches with cupolas. The wealthy ship captains of the late 19th century built neo-classical mansions. These houses are seen built in succession one above the other. In 1976 the town was included in the programme for preservation and development of traditional settlements of the Greek National Tourism Organisation under Aris Konstantinidis. Over 15 years, the programme sought to preserve, restore and find new uses for selected houses and architectural ensembles representative of traditional Greek architecture. Many of the yposkafa spitia (cave houses), simple seamen's houses on the edge of the caldera, became guest-houses, hotels and restaurants.
