Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – The Heart of the Andes
Highlight: Explore the beautiful city of Cusco, the navel of the world.
Welcome to Cusco (3,350 m / 11,151 ft), the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, our team will greet you and take you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city's charming streets, historic plazas, and vibrant culture at your own pace while acclimating to the altitude.
Overnight: Cusco (Ayni Cusco Hotel*** or similar)
Day 2: Chinchero, Maras & Moray – A Glimpse of Incan Ingenuity
Highlight: Discover Inca technology and Andean tradition.
After breakfast, head to Chinchero, known as the “Town of the Rainbow,” to visit its colonial church and Incan ruins. Enjoy a weaving demonstration by local artisans. Then explore Moray, a remarkable site of agricultural terraces, followed by the salt mines of Maras with over 3,000 pools still in use today. Conclude with a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes.

Day 3: Machu Picchu – The Lost City of the Incas
Highlight: Guided visit to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
An early morning bus takes you to the majestic Machu Picchu (2,430 m / 7,972 ft). Discover this iconic site with a guided tour through its temples, plazas, and terraces. Enjoy free time to explore or take an optional hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (pre-booking required). After the visit, return via train and by car from Ollantaytambo station to your hotel.

Day 4: Humantay Lake – A Turquoise Gem of the Andes
Highlight: Trek to one of the most stunning lakes in the Andes.
Depart early to Mollepata for breakfast before beginning your hike from Soraypampa (3,880 m / 12,729 ft) to the breathtaking Humantay Lake. The vibrant turquoise waters surrounded by snowy peaks offer unforgettable scenery. After lunch, return to Cusco.

Day 5: Rainbow Mountain – A Natural Wonder
Highlight: Hike to the colourful summit of Rainbow Mountain.
Begin the day with a drive through the Andean countryside, stopping near Cusipata for breakfast. Then trek to the summit of Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 ft) to admire its vibrant hues and panoramic views. After your descent and lunch, return to Cusco.

Day 6: Farewell Cusco – Departure
Highlight: Enjoy your final moments in the magical city of Cusco.
