Our 5-day group adventure tour is an affordable way to explore the Western Cape, Little Karoo, Whale Route, Addo Elephant National Park, and the Wine Route (Route 62). This tour starts in Cape Town every Monday, and ends back in Cape Town every Friday.

Day 1: We depart from Cape Town at 8am and proceed to Worcester from where we join the Wine Route R62

We drive through the mountains on the R62 Wine Route in the Montagu area. This is the most scenic part of the R62 Wine route area.

The Heads are a natural mystic in Knysna. The Atlantic Ocean shows it power pushing through. On top you have a amazing view over the ocean and the lagoon. This view is a must see! The heads also have beaches where you can listen to the waves and enjoy being there.
There are numerous view points and opportunities for memorable photographs.
Robberg Nature Reserve

From the Knysna Heads we head off the Robberg Nature Reserve, definitely one of the best in South Africa. Robberg Nature Reserve is where we do hiking. As you hike, expect inspiring landscapes, exciting dolphin and whale sightings in season, and to be accompanied on their walks or hikes by a variety of bird species and the occasional seal.
Plettenberg Bay

We visit beaches in Plettenberg Bay. Plettenberg Bay offers holiday makers a wonderful holiday experience. The town has miles of sweeping golden beaches, the dramatic Robberg Peninsula, intriguing lagoons and estuaries, indigenous forests and unpolluted rivers and sea to entice visitors.

In late afternoon we return to Knysna for an afternoon or sunset boat cruise. This is an optional extra.
Day 3: After breakfast we depart from Knysna and head to Addo National Park

Now the third largest national park in South Africa, Addo Elephant National Park has expanded to conserve a wide range of biodiversity, landscapes, fauna and flora. We do a game drive in our vehicle at this huge national park, the 3rd largest in South Africa.
Bloukrans Bridge

From Addo National Park we head off to the Bloukrans Bridge. Here there is an opportunity to do the bungy jump, the highest in the world at 216 metres (optional extra - cost $70-00)
Day 4: After breakfast we depart from Knysna and head to Cape Alguhus

Cape Agulhas

We drive to Cape Agulhas, the most southern tip of Africa. In Cape Agulhas we visit a viewpoint known as the “real” place where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Embark on an exciting tour of Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Explore the rugged coastline, visit the iconic lighthouse, and take in panoramic views of the crashing waves and dramatic cliffs. This unique destination offers breathtaking scenery, fascinating photo opportunities, and the thrill of standing at the very edge of the African continent.
Hermanus

Visit Hermanus and explore the famous Cliff Path, a scenic walkway that hugs the coastline and offers stunning views of the ocean. During whale season, this is one of the best places in the world to spot southern right whales as they breach and play near the shore. Along the path, you can enjoy the fresh sea air, take in dramatic coastal scenery, and experience the relaxed charm of this picturesque town.
Day 5: After breakfast we relax in Hermanus and tour this beautiful town. We visit Sculpture in the Cliffs in Hermanus

Betty's Bay

From Benguela Cove Wine Estate, we proceed to Betty's Bay to view a colony of endangered African penguins. Experience the thrill of whale watching in Hermanus, one of the world’s premier coastal destinations for observing southern right whales during their annual migration. From the shore, cliffs, or boat excursions, visitors can see these majestic creatures breaching, tail-slapping, and interacting with their calves. The combination of stunning ocean scenery and unforgettable wildlife encounters makes Hermanus a must-visit stop during whale season.
We then do the last leg of our tour traveling back to Cape Town and arriving in late afternoon.
