Departing daily at 11:00 AM, Pachamama Tours combines comfort and thrill as we take you on a journey like no other. From Antigua, enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive to the entrance of Acatenango National Park. From there, our expert drivers navigate the rugged terrain for another 45 minutes, making the ride as smooth and safe as possible.

Arriving at “Tonel,” located three-quarters of the way to the summit, you'll begin a breathtaking 2-kilometer walk to our base camp. Here, you're greeted by incredible views of the Fuego volcano, often erupting in a mesmerizing display.

As part of your adventure, an exciting 1.5-hour guided hike brings you as close as 200 meters to Fuego’s eruptions—a once-in-a-lifetime experience included in the tour.

After your hike, retreat to our newly built wooden cabins, thoughtfully designed for both comfort and practicality. Each cabin is fully insulated to keep you warm, features large glass doors so you can enjoy the eruptions from inside, and has a maximum capacity of five people.

Back at base camp, unwind by the fire with hot chocolate and a shot of premium Guatemalan rum. We provide all the necessary gear—hats, gloves, jackets, wooden hiking poles, sleeping bags, and mattresses—ensuring your comfort throughout your stay.

At 4:00 AM, wake up for a hike to the summit to witness a stunning sunrise over Guatemala’s landscapes. By 8:00 AM, after a hearty breakfast and unforgettable moments, we begin the return journey to Antigua, leaving you with cherished memories and a renewed connection to nature.
