What you can expect

Day 1 - 2: Jodhpur (D)
Your guide will pick you from your hotel around 8:15am, then take you in an air-conditioned car or coach for a full-day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, India's famous Sun-city. Visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and Museum, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Mandore Gardens. Return to your hotel around lunch.

After a rest, visit Jaswant Thada and take a walk through the colorful bazaars of Jodhpur. In the evening, have dinner in the lovely
home of a former royal family of Jodhpur, who will serve you unlimited quantities of drink and succulent kebabs. Overnight at a
heritage hotel.

Day 3-4- : Jaisalmer (B, D)
After breakfast, leave for the lovely desert city of Jaisalmer. Lunch en-route. Check into your boutique heritage hotel. In the
evening visit the beautifully lit Golden Fort. Return to your hotel for drinks, dinner and overnight.

Day 5-6 : Sam Dunes (B, D)
After an early breakfast, take a walking tour of the narrow streets of the town. Admire the exquisitely carved mansions of the
merchants. Proceed to Sam Dunes located about 25 miles (40 km) from your hotel. Check into your a/c tented accommodation.

After lunch, visit the surrounding sand dunes. See the setting sun over the shimmering desert. Return to your tent for an evening of folk music and dances. Drinks, bbq and dinner in the great setting around your tent. Overnight in the tent.

Day 7-8-9 Bikaner (B, D)
Early morning after breakfast, leave for Bikaner, which is about a 4-hour journey. Visit the amazing Deshnok Temple on the way. Check into a lovely heritage hotel and have lunch at the hotel.

In the afternoon, visit the majestic Lalgarh and Junagarh Forts. Take a jeep safari around the villages of Bikaner, then return to your hotel for drinks, dinner and overnight.
