Day 1 Arusha-Serengeti Western Corridor
Pick up from the hotel or airport then transit to the domestic terminal on time for the flight to the Serengeti.
Arrive at Grumeti airstrip and meet with your safari guide and private vehicle. The Western Corridor, or Serengeti west, ìs a stretch of land following the course of the Grumeti River from Serengeti Central towards Lake Victoria. Both the Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers support substantial chunks of riverine forests before emptying into Lake Victoria. The savannah supports substantial resident populations of giraffe, wildebeest, elephant, zebra and other typical plains animals, and lion. The little-visited open grasslands north of the river are good for cheetahs and other residents predators. The busiest period in terms of visitors is the May-July period which coincides with the Great Migration passing through the Western Corridor on their trek to the north. Day 2 Serengeti Western Corridor
Early morning breakfast then proceed to enjoy full day of game viewing on the plains with picnic lunch, your safari guide will chat to you to customize your experience. When planning a migration safari to Serengeti, it is highly important to understand the best place to be based at any point of time during Serengeti safari which is grumeti river. The Wildebeest and Zebra basically move in a huge anti-clockwise direction. The herd encounters its first major obstacle at this point. As Lake Victoria experiences its own miniature wet season, the herd shifts direction and treks toward Africa’s largest freshwater lake in search of sustenance.The only thing standing between them? The Grumeti River.

Day 3 Full Day Serengeti Western Corridor
wake up early for a game drive and get back to camp for breakfast then relax at camp. After lunch depart for game viewing and until evening.Option book a hot-air balloon experience (additional cost, in season only) if you wish to get a different perspective of the plain.Back at camp to relax after a full day, enjoy the sun setting with a warm drink and enjoy dinner under the stars.Overnight Asanja Grumeti Luxury Camp or similar
