Experience the “real” San Blas on a 4-day island-hopping adventure. Explore the stunning island paradise famous for its white sand beaches and turquoise waters. You will sleep on 3 different islands and go on 2 boat tours to different islands. You will also meet the local Kuna family who will share their traditions with you.

Day 1:

If choosing our optional roundtrip transportation service (available during checkout), a friendly driver will meet you at your Panama City lodging between 5:00am and 5:45am and safely transport you and up to five other guests to the Port of Carti. Relax and start enjoying the 2.5 to 3 hour journey through the spectacular jungle highlands. Oftentimes we encounter wildlife, such as monkeys and sloths on the road and will gladly stop the car to give you opportunities to admire these beautiful animals and to take photos. Our drivers will also stop at a grocery store in case you want to purchase any items, such as snacks, water or fruit.

When arriving at the port a “lancha” boat will be waiting for you, ready to take you to your island.

The 20-minute boat ride to the first island may be a little bumpy. Depending on ocean conditions, there may be some ocean spray.

As you arrive at the first island, you will be greeted by the calm, turquoise seas, surrounding the island.

After settling into your private traditional Kuna cabin with sand floor, start enjoying the beaches.

Lunch is served at after 12:30pm. Meals usually consist of the fresh catch of the day (we do offer vegetarian or non-seafood options).

Spend the remainder of the day adjusting to the island life, relaxing in a hammock, swimming in the ocean or exploring the island.

Dinner is served after 6:00pm

Day 2:

Breakfast is served after 7:00am.

Checkout from your room is at 8:00am.

A lancha boat will take you on an island tour to Isla Nuinudup and the famous Natural Pool. The tour ends on Isla Perro Chico, famous for its beautiful white sand beach and the snorkeling shipwreck right in front of its beach. This will also be your island for the night.

Lunch is served after 12:30pm

Dinner is served after 6:30pm

Day 3:

Breakfast is served after 7:00am.

Checkout from your room is at 8:00am

A lancha boat will take you to your third island destination.

After arrival, meet the resident Kuna family and learn about their culture and Mola-making art. Guests are also welcome to join the Kuna family daily activities, such as collecting coconuts, cleaning beaches etc.

Spend the rest of the morning on the island.

Lunch is served after 12:30pm

In the afternoon, embark on another boat tour to explore more islands.

Dinner is served after 6:30pm

Day 4:

Breakfast is served after 7:00am.

Checkout from your room is at 8:00am

A lancha boat will take you back to the port, where your driver is waiting to return you to Panama City, arriving at your lodging by 1:00pm.
