1 day in Bucegi Mountains and 2 days in Piatra Craiului National Park, one of the most beautiful mountains in Romania.

The trek is a medium one, except the part when we climb the highest peak of National Park: we start from Brasov, we end in Brasov - we trek between 5 - 8 hours, we make a stop to an authentic sheep farm for a “special” lunch (from June to September), we cross the authentic mountain villages from the bottom of the mountains, depending of the weather and you we climb the highest peak of the National Park (2238), we cross very nice gorges.

We stay 3 nights at the same guesthouse.

Day 1: Brasov - Bucegi Natural Park

Bucegi Mountains

  • 5h
1 day in Bucegi Mountains hiking on the northern part, from Bran village area, which is more beautiful and wild. We make a stop to an authentic sheep farm (from June to September). Duration: 5-6 hours, medium effort, uphill/downhill walk: 800 m/ 800 m, appr. 14 km)

Day 2: Piatra Craiului National Park

  • 1 stop
  • Meals: breakfast, snacks, lunch
  • Accommodation: Overnight at the same local guesthouse from Bran area (eg. Magura mountain village).

We spend 3 days in Piatra Craiului National Park, one of the most beautiful mountains in Romania.

Day 3: Piatra Craiului National Park

We cross the authentic mountain villages from the bottom of the mountains and we walk in the epic Zarnesti Gorges! Easy to medium walk.

Depending of the weather and you we climb the highest peak of the National Park (2238). It is a hard one, uphill 1200 m / downhill 1200 m. In case you are not fit for such a kind of hike we can do a different one.
