Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at our meeting point, where we’ll equip you with a state-of-the-art e-bike, helmet, recommended route, and cell phone holder. Following a brief safety and training session to ensure all riders are confident, you’ll set off on a journey that seamlessly blends exploration and tranquility.

The scenic route takes you through downtown Wilmington and along the renowned River to Sea Bikeway. This dedicated bike path offers a serene escape, with winding stretches framed by lush greenery and breathtaking natural vistas. You’ll encounter countless photo-worthy moments.

Please arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to ensure a smooth experience. All self-guided tours require a refundable security deposit of $100 per rider.

Before the Airlie Gardens, we will take an e-bike ride from downtown Wilmington, NC to the botanical gardens. On this route, we will ride both on-road (shared lanes with vehicles) as well as off-road (dedicated bike routes). The route is beautiful, showing you some of the best parts of downtown while also venturing further inland, through beautiful nature-rich areas.

Airlie’s historic property encompasses more than 67 acres of spectacular gardens, seasonal blooms, mighty live oaks, walking trails and historic structures. The self-guided walking experience allows visitors to explore more than a dozen gardens; including the Pergola, Minnie Evans Bottle Chapel & a seasonal Butterfly House.
