We will pick you at your location about 5:00 AM, your driver guide will meet you by your 4WD safari vehicle and drive southwest. Of course you can join this tour from another location than Zanzibar as well. We will make it happen. You will arrive well around lunchtime, right in time for a hearty meal in your wilderness lodge. Later in afternoon, after your lunch and a short break, your captain will collect you from the lodge and escort you to the river bank. Here you will step in a motorboat with a tent, and your exciting boat safari adventure on the Rufiji River begins. You will approach the schools of hippos, spot crocodiles, observe colorful birds and primates in the trees along the banks. Giraffes, elephants and various antelopes often come to drink water in the evening time. After watching the sunset over the mighty Rufiji, you will return to your comfortable and authentic lodge.
