Day 1: Ulaanbaatar to Khustai National Park to Terelj National Park Begin your adventure with a morning departure from Ulaanbaatar. Arrive at Khustai National Park and visit the park museum for a briefing on the Takhi wild horse reintroduction project. Drive into the park to spot Przewalski’s horses (Takhi), red deer, or foxes. Enjoy a short winter hike (optional) and savor a picnic or hot lunch at the Khustai camp area or a nearby family ger.

Arrive at Khustai National Park and visit the information center. Learn about the history and conservation of the Przewalski’s horse, known locally as takhi. After lunch in wildlife drive through the national park. Search for wild horses and enjoy the beautiful mountain-steppe scenery.
