Day 01 | Colombo – Sinharaja Rainforest

08:00 – Pickup from your hotel in Colombo and depart for Sinharaja Rainforest, Sri Lanka’s last viable tropical lowland rainforest (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

12:00 – Arrive at Rainforest Eco Lodge and enjoy lunch surrounded by lush jungle scenery.
Check in and spend a few hours at leisure, relaxing and soaking in the natural surroundings.

15:00 – Set out on a guided nature trail inside Sinharaja Rainforest. Explore this tropical wet evergreen forest, home to an extraordinary concentration of endemic flora and fauna found nowhere else in the world.

17:30 – Return to the lodge with memorable photographs.
Evening at leisure followed by dinner.

Day 02 | Sinharaja – Yala National Park

05:30 – Early morning rainforest trekking experience, offering the best opportunity to observe birdlife, butterflies, and rainforest activity at dawn.

07:30 – Return to the lodge for breakfast. Check out and proceed towards Yala.

12:30 – Arrive in Tissamaharama and transfer by Leopard Nest jeep to the campsite.

13:00 – Arrive at Leopard Nest Campsite and check in to your private tree nest. Receive a short introduction to the campsite from the camp manager.

13:00 – 14:30 – Enjoy lunch at the main restaurant or one of the scenic outdoor dining locations. Relax afterward in a hammock or explore wildlife books in the camp library.

15:00 – Depart for an evening game drive in Yala National Park, one of Asia’s best destinations for spotting leopards, elephants, and other wildlife.

18:30 – Return to camp and enjoy a private alfresco shower, followed by drinks and appetizers around the campfire.

21:00 – Dinner served at a specially selected location within the campsite. Dine under the stars for a truly unforgettable jungle experience.

Day 03 | Yala – Colombo

05:00 – Wake up to freshly brewed Ceylon tea or coffee.

05:30 – Begin a guided nature walk through bushland leading to a scenic lake. Enjoy breathtaking views, birdwatching, and possible sightings of elephants, deer, wild boar, palm squirrels, reptiles, butterflies, and both endemic and migratory birds.

08:00 – Enjoy a private breakfast by the lake, surrounded by birdsong and fresh morning air. Return to the campsite to refresh and relax.

11:00 – Check out and transfer back to your hotel in Colombo, concluding your rainforest and wildlife adventure.
