What you can expect

Day 1 : COLOMBO – SIGIRIYA – KANDY
Sigiriya Museum This decent museum has a fine diorama of the site, providing an excellent overview and explaining Sigiriya's cultural importance beyond the obvious natural beauty. The theory that Sigiriya was a Buddhist monastery is given here, although the established position that it was a palace or fortress prevails.

Dambulla Cave Temple Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 kilometers east of Colombo and 72 kilometers north of Kandy. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress Rising dramatically from the central plains, the enigmatic rocky outcrop of Sigiriya is perhaps Sri Lanka's single most dramatic sight. Near-vertical walls soar to a flat-topped summit that contains the ruins of an ancient civilization, thought to be once the epicenter of the short-lived kingdom of Kassapa, and there are spellbinding vistas across mist-wrapped forests in the early morning.

Arrive in Kandy by evening and visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, housing the sacred tooth of Buddha in golden stupa-shaped caskets. The complex also includes smaller shrines and museums.

Overnight Stay at Royal Kandyan or Similar Hotel

Day 2 KANDY-NUWARA ELIYA- ELLA
After breakfast at the hotel, begin the day with visits to a wood carving workshop and a gem museum, where you can observe traditional craftsmanship and learn about Sri Lanka’s gemstone heritage.

Then, journey through the scenic hill country toward Ella. En route, stop for a photo opportunity at the Ramboda Falls, one of the tallest and most picturesque waterfalls in Sri Lanka.

Continue with a visit to a tea factory and plantation, where you can learn about the process of cultivating and producing world-famous Ceylon tea. Set amidst misty hills and cascading waterfalls, the plantation offers a memorable and educational experience.

If interested, you may opt for a scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella, known for its panoramic views of tea-covered hills and charming countryside. Upon arrival in Ella, check in and relax.

Overnight Stay in Ella

Day 3 Ella City Tour – Udawalawe National Park - Colombo
Start early with a hike to Little Adam’s Peak to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over Ella’s hills. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast.

Visit the famous Nine Arches Bridge, a stunning railway bridge set amid lush jungle and tea plantations, known for its nine graceful arches and scenic surroundings.

Check out from the hotel and depart Ella. On the way to Colombo, enjoy a safari at Udawalawe National Park, home to hundreds of elephants and diverse wildlife in their natural habitat.

After the safari, continue your journey to Colombo, Negombo, or the airport, with drop-off arranged according to your preference.
