Begin your journey in Rabat and head south through changing scenery, passing fertile plains, mountain roads, and traditional Berber villages. Continue through the Middle Atlas region before reaching the edge of the Sahara in Merzouga, where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise dramatically from the desert floor.
