Today we will pick you up at 4:00am from your hotel in Cusco and transferred in our comfortable transport to the train station located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas at Ollantaytambo town.

Chachabamba

board the train to Km 104 start point of our Inca Trail hike. This one-hour train journey allows you to appreciate the fascinating scenery along the sacred Vilcanota River. Once we reach the kilometer 104 we will disembark the train and walk across bridge over the Urubamba river to the control and check the passports and Inca trail permit and then will visit Chachabamba which is a lovely Inca site which contains water channels, fountains and more. We will commence the hike mostly upwards around 3.5 hours until Wiñaywayna (forever young) an impressive Inca site which was an agricultural center with numerous terraces, a religious sector and an urban sector. After the guided tour we will enjoy our boxed lunch.

Then we will continue our hike for an extra hour to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) from here you will have the first amazing view of Machu Picchu. After a brief stop for pictures, we will walk down for an extra 40 minutes to the enigmatic Inca citadel of Machupicchu

We will visit Machupicchu and take the best classic photos from the top platform (circuit 1) in the afternoon. And then board the bus to Aguas Calientes town.

Aguas Calientes

Check in into your accommodation, After check in the rest of the time is at leisure to explore the little Machupicchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) and visit its restaurants for dinner
