Starting from Madách Square, visit the famous Gozsdu Passage and visit two historical synagogues: the Rumbach Street Synagogue and the Kazinczy Street Synagogue, both being excellent art historical and historical examples and mementos of their own time.

Visit mementos of the Holocaust: a remnant of the ghetto wall, the Carl Lutz Memorial, a Memory Wall, hear stories of miraculous survivings and miracle-making people who helped others to survive.

Beside the monuments the streets themselves are also interesting, learn their stories and explore less-known interesting sights. Get to know the stories and tales surrounding the streets of the Jewish District: how people who lived there, who were famous and for what reason. Where did two other synagogues stand in the district which were demolished by the 1930s?
