Start Time: 10am / 1pm

The main goal with our Tour de Wilmington e-bike ride is to show you as much of Wilmington as we can! We will take you through the heart of downtown, where you will be able to view Wilmington's best restaurants, bars, shops, and historic landmarks. We will guide you through areas such as the Cargo District, Brooklyn Arts District, Greenfield Lake Park, Memorial Park, the famous Riverwalk in downtown, and the up-and-coming Castle Street. While traveling around Greenfield Lake Park, you will ride the twisty, curvy bike lane and zig zag the path that will take you over wooden bridges and around the lake. This ride is about having FUN while also seeing historic sites, historic homes, famous landmarks, and more. By the end, you will have a good sense of where to go to enjoy Wilmington!

All tour attendees must arrive 20 minutes prior. This tour is more of a riding tour, but we will stop periodically and briefly provide some history facts on notable sites as well.

Activity itinerary

Ride along nearly two-miles of scenic walkway alongside the historic Cape Fear River. Stretching from Nunn Street to the Isabella Holmes Bridge, lined with an assortment of markets, unique boutiques and art galleries, the Riverwalk is home to outdoor cafes and narrated tours. The marina at the north end accommodates larger vessels, with an outdoor concert venue as well as a restaurant featuring spectacular river and sunset views. One hotel with a roof top view has opened and there is another one currently under construction nearby. The Riverwalk is open year-round, featuring over 200 close-by shops, restaurants and attractions. Conlon Pier is a popular spot for catching views of the river, and is the only spot along the Riverwalk where fishing is allowed. We will ride from downtown Wilmington to Greenfield Lake and back.
