  • Shoes have to be taken out in some caves in Ajanta. If you want to avoid it, then you can carry polythene socks together.
  • Note : Ajanta Caves are closed every Monday. Ellora Caves are closed every Tuesday.

Morning: 7:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. departure from Aurangabad Your two-day journey begins with an early-morning departure from Aurangabad. Your guide will pick you up from your selected pickup point in Aurangabad and proceed to Ajanta Caves. Ajanta is at a distance of 100 km from Aurangabad; it will take 2 hours to reach here. Ajanta Caves, which are known for their rich historical and cultural heritage, This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a complex of 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments carved into the rocks of the Waghora River valley. Which is from the second century BC. Marvel at the intricate sculptures, stunning frescoes, and grand architecture that tell stories of the Buddha's life and Buddhist legends. After sightseeing 1 or 2 pm: Lunch at a local restaurant Enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant offering traditional Indian cuisine. After lunch, return to Aurangabad. Start your exploration with the magnificent Kailash Temple (Cave 16), a monolithic marvel dedicated to Lord Shiva.
