Day 1:

In the early morning, your driver will be waiting at the hotel reception with a private transfer-van to take you to the airport ready to begin your journey.

After checking in at the airport, you will fly to Mtemere Airstrip in Nyerere National Park, the largest national park in Tanzania. Upon arrival, you will meet a safari guide and your safari adventure begins immediately, with lunch served inside the park (bush lunch).
At the end of your adventurous day, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

Day 2:

After an early breakfast, begin your morning with a guided bush walk accompanied by an armed park ranger and an experienced safari guide. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to explore the African wilderness on foot, learn about animal tracks, native plants, and the smaller creatures that are often missed during game drives, while gaining fascinating insights into the park's ecosystem.

Following the bush walk, enjoy a relaxing two-hour boat safari on the Rufiji River, beginning at 10:00 am. As Tanzania's largest river, the Rufiji is renowned for its rich wildlife and scenic beauty. Cruise along its tranquil waters in search of large pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, and an impressive variety of birdlife. If you're fortunate, you may also witness elephants, giraffes, or other wildlife gathering along the riverbanks to drink.

After the boat safari, you will return to the accommodation for lunch and some relaxing time, perhaps enjoy swimming pool or simply unwinding before catching your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.

Upon your arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will be ready to meet you and take you back to your hotel.
