Know before you book

    • Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels, and operating conditions. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be canceled due to poor weather. Unused services are not subject to a refund.
    • Meals onboard are fusion: Vietnamese, seafood & international. Guests should provide us with any special food preferences, allergies or dietary requirements at least 3 days prior to the departure date.
    • Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by the port authority.

What you can expect

  • Since our launch in 2011, Tonkin Cruises has grown to become one of Vietnam’s leading cruise companies and experts in the Ha Long Bay area. Our overnight cruises offer the opportunity to escape the crowds and experience a quieter side of the bay without the heavy price tag

    DAY 01: HANOI - BAI TU LONG BAY – CAP LA – CONG DO

    12:15: Arriving at Hon Gai Harbor, Ha Long City. Transfer to Tonkin Cruise Boat by tender (5 -10 minutes)

    12:30: Enjoy welcome drink, safety briefing then check in to your cabin

    13:00: Cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay & having lunch with Set Menu

    14:30: Visit Thien Canh Son Cave.

    15:30: Kayaking to explore some lagoons, Swimming, Relaxing at the Beach in Cap La

    17:30: Relax and enjoy the sunset party with Happy Hour (from 5h30pm- 7h30pm) while the boat is cruising to Cong Dong-Cong Do area to anchor for overnight

    19:00: Having BBQ dinner (on the sundeck if weather permit otherwise in the restaurant)

    21:00: Free evening to join some activities of board games or squid fishing, play guitar, watch movies or karaoke (advance request) or taste the variety of drinks at our luxury sky bar (chargeable) with wines, cocktails, brandy, juice.

    DAY 02: CONG DO - VUNG VIENG FISHING VILLAGE – HON GAI - HANOI

    06:30: Wake up early in the morning for Taichi exercise

    07:00: Have a light breakfast.

    07:45: Visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village by bamboo boat to discover the daily life of the fisher communities

    09:00: Back to the main boat, relaxing, packing up

    09:30: Checking-out and relaxing on the sundeck

    10:30: Enjoy the last scenery of the Ha Long Bay over lunch when the boat cruises back to shore.

    11:45: Disembark and relax in our spacious lounge
